Reply to "Holden Back the Tears"

This book seems somewhat interesting. I like Tuesdays With Morrie better so far, but I can't judge so quickly. I guess I'll see how much I like The Catcher in the Rye when I read more. After three chapters, I already like Holden. It seems as if he doesn't care that people don't like him, but he does. It's interesting to be inside Holden's head and read every thought he has. As for the author J.D. Salinger, I'd like to say his writing style is unique. He also seems to be very old, and he could be dead because he lives in solitude. We might not even know! I understand why he doesn't see the sunlight though...
